about
This song is the product of complete boredom during the great quarantine. It no longer feels like a song, but rather a phantasmagorical psychedelic experience.
This song tells the story of coronavirus (COVID-19).
It is split into three movements each depicting important events that occurred in the past months.
The first movement depicts the nonchalant and simultaneously concerned attitude Western Civilization had for Coronavirus in the beginning. Later in its eventual spread, it was the source of international panic. Still, there were many, like the United States President, Donald Trump, who doubted a microscopic serial killer could have any impact on our society. Partake in psychological horror in this movement.
The second movement recounts the experience of questioning our government's decisions. How long will quarantine last? Who am I allowed to see? Why toilet paper? It was a time of indecisiveness and mental chaos.
Alas, we reach the eye of the storm. Streets are empty, major cities appear desolate, and time seems to stand still...
Finally, we reach the third movement. As quarantine and isolation become a part of daily life in early April, educators nationwide begin to resume classes on Zoom. Zoomers and Boomers have never been so close. It wasn't long after that people used this for their own entertainment. Zoom bombers emerged from this instant spike of bandwidth usage at Zoom's servers. The cabin fever became unbearable.
The third movement perfectly concludes this story in an uneasily pleasant way.
Without further ado, I give you Coronation Day.
lyrics
Shit, I had ligma and crackers
eat my donut, until it is dead (rip)
everyone's dying, please stay at home
Oh, Corona! Made China cry a little
Woah New York...No hope for tomorrow
Will it all end? A really stupid question
ask your mom, she'll most likely be dead
Trump is telling us to forget
all the people that had bad lungs and gout
my liver's failing, unrelated
Oh, Corona! Worldwide panic and chaos
Quarantine them! No remorse for the living!
Yes, Corona! Crowned with conquest and slaughter!
Humankind, prepare for extinction
